About The Company:
So goes our Corporate motto and on behalf of TheKeyPorter, I would like to thank you for your interest in our exciting venture.
The inspiration for The KeyPorter came from founding & running CatCalls (www.catcalls.ca) in Vancouver Canada in 2011, A Cat sitting service who whilst away on Holiday or Business wished for a professional carer rather than reliance on relatives, friends or neighbours.
During the time with CatCalls, the majority of clients left a spare set of keys with CatCalls sitters, as many had last minute requests & having access to a spare set of keys is a bonus.
During the Years of CatCalls operations ( It’s still providing a service). A number of clients found themselves in a situation where they were locked out, lost or mislaid their keys & on one occasion a client had her bag stolen with keys, ID Wallet everything. Luckily CatCalls were able to happily drop the spare set of keys to the customer. (As the customer had no ID a locksmith was unable to provide their services, a legal requirement).
Having returned to the UK in 2020, TheKeyPorter was set up to provide a 24/7, 365 secure, accessible depository for your “spare” sets of keys. With the flexibility for the customer to pass access information to their trusted ones, for less than the cost of a Pint a month.
No big fee, no long wait. Essentially: No tall order. A simple solution to a frustrating and common problem, as keys are in the Top 5 “Lost Items” according to (Google) Express Newspaper.
So began TheKeyPorter
